Day 6 Post Op

Day 6 of post-op. Still trying to control his pain. Been working on getting him to move his neck more from side to side. His head favors one side. Don't want it so stiff.  February 13 we go back to the doctor for a check up. Below are some pics from his surgery. I forgot to post some of these!

    Thanks for the pictures, Erika! I know I've never met you, but I am a Pekin insured and agent, and Chris handled my claim recently. That's how I found out about Brennan and his Chiari Malformation. I had never heard of it. I checked out the blog and have kept a close watch on any updates. The first pictures of Brennan and that smile just melted my heart! And then I see these and him smiling through the pain and I have tears in my eyes. What a brave little boy you have there. Thank you so much for allowing us to take a part of your journey with you. I hope to meet you all someday!

      Thank you for keeping up with the blog! It is just a way for us to keep everyone updated on Brennan. Also.. thank you very much for Brennan's card and money! That was very sweet! B is definitely a brave kid! He does have a contagious smile! He is one of the most lovable kids! One of these days we will meet and maybe you can meet B too! :)
